March 13, 2024: Italian opera, now recognized by UNESCO, was graced by the truly exceptional Giacomo Puccini. His works, including the arias from Tosca, Butterfly, and Turandot, featuring the acclaimed “Nessun Dorma,” are adored across the globe. Puccini was born and raised in Lucca and near Viareggio, at Torre del Lago. This year’s Terre di Canossa will celebrate the centennial of his passing by featuring his music against the backdrop of the event. A passionate and romantic touch that deserves to be experienced.
