The race between enchanting landscapes and sophisticated hospitality
2025 programme
The extraordinary race along the millennia-old roads of “Terre di Canossa,” so called in honor of Countess Matilda, Queen of Italy in the 11th Century, is about to begin again.
The beautiful city of Forte dei Marmi, the “Pearl of Versilia”, will be the backdrop for the 2023 edition and will welcome the participants of the supertouring regularity race. Crews will be guests at the best 5-star hotels of the famous seaside city, one of the most glamorous venues on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The driving experience through iconic Italian landscapes, rolling green hills, pristine mountain passes and enchanting towns will start with the accreditation and scrutineering procedures in Viareggio, at Cittadella del Carnevale from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 27. Nestled between the Versilia Sea and the peaks of the Apuan Alps, Viareggio is famous worldwide for its wonderful carnival.
The new edition of “Terre di Canossa” will let crews experience a unique route of about 600 kilometers, designed for historic cars up to 1976 and modern supercars since 1991. Forte dei Marmi’s famous Piazza Marconi is the designated location for the start and conclusion of each leg of the race. The special opening night will take place in a marble-laden location, to celebrate the area’s most famous and valuable product.
The Marble Road, with its fascinating quarries, and the iconic Cinque Terre will be the picture-perfect scenery for the first leg. The driving day will end with an enchanting evening in the heart of Forte dei Marmi with typical Italian flavors.
The second leg will be dedicated to the Tuscan hinterland, the Apennines, Passo delle Radici and Abetone. At the end of the day the long-awaited beach party at Bambaissa in Forte dei Marmi will awe participants.
The third and final leg will be devoted to the discovery of millennial Pisa, the emblematic city of the Leaning Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The end of race lunch and awards ceremony will take place in an iconic location overlooking the Versilia Sea.
Get ready to experience an extraordinary journey and discover the true essence of Tuscany and Italy among unique historic cars and timeless emotions.
