April 26, 2025: The second day of the fifteenth edition of the Terre di Canossa Rally, from 8 to 11 May, will guide participants through the wonders of the Maremma and the Etruscan Coast — lands steeped in history, culture and centuries-old traditions. Departing from Punta Ala, the route will pass through some of Tuscany’s most evocative locations, offering an unforgettable experience of breathtaking landscapes, historic villages, and unspoiled nature.
The first stretch of the route takes drivers through Grosseto, the beating heart of the Maremma, a city where the past meets the present through its fortified old town and impressive medieval architecture. From there, the rally continues towards Scansano, famed for its Morellino — the DOCG red wine that embodies the region’s rich winemaking heritage.
The journey gains momentum with a stop in Orbetello, nestled between the sea and lagoon. This corner of the Maremma offers stunning views of untouched nature and the migratory paths of flamingos. Following the coast, the rally reaches Porto Santo Stefano, in the heart of Monte Argentario—a striking promontory overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is known for its vibrant marina and maritime traditions, offering panoramic vistas and an authentic seafaring atmosphere.
On the final day, the rally heads towards Castagneto Carducci, a charming medieval village named after the poet Giosuè Carducci, and on to Bolgheri, home to the world-renowned Super Tuscan wines. Here, the famous cypress-lined avenue provides a majestic backdrop for an experience steeped in viticulture, culture, and timeless beauty.
The Terre di Canossa Rally is not merely a motoring event, but a true celebration of Italian excellence — blending passion, elegance, fine cuisine, and the charm of the landscape. A journey through these captivating locations invites participants to discover the soul of Tuscany, where tradition, culture and the thrill of competition come together.
